J&J has been one of the CSRO’s strongest supporters in the past five years, raising over $200,000 for the CSRO’s Shoot For A Cure Campaign. Funds are raised by hosting an annual hockey tournament which continues to grow every year.  This year the tournament was held from May 5^th to 7^th at the Pierrefonds Sportplexe in Montreal, Quebec.  It was hugely successful raising over $75,000.

This year the tournament featured a special Montreal Canadiens Alumni Garme in which the top 18 fundraisers were awarded the experience of stepping onto the ice with some of hockey’s greats including: Gaston Gingras, Reajean Houle, Richard Sevigny, Jimmy Mann, Norm Dupont, Marc Bureau, Yvon Lambert, Sergio Momesso and Gilles Thibaudeau. Isabelle Biron was the event’s top fundraiser, bringing in over $3,800 herself. 

The CSRO is incredibly grateful to everyone who was involved in this year’s tournament! We eagerly await next year’s event!
