ONF Announces Closure After 23 Years

Ontario Neurotrauma Foundation closes

Sadly, the Ontario Neurotrauma Foundation (ONF) has announced the closure of its doors after 23 years. As an important partner and ally of the CSRO, the ONF has supported our initiatives, and provided us with a research network that allowed funding to amplify through shared channels to make our research dollars go further. Our community has been strengthened by their work over the years, and we will greatly miss their presence and efforts in neurotrauma and research.

The outcomes of ONF’s work, developed by their many talented researchers, will continue to inform neurotrauma care. This work is recognized nationally and internationally and sets the standards for serving our community. Through research, knowledge mobilization and implementation initiatives ONF made advances to prevent neurotrauma injuries and improve the lives of 500K Ontarians with acquired brain injury and spinal cord injury.

Thank you to the ONF for advocating, educating, and supporting initiatives that help improve the lives of Ontarians with spinal cord injuries. We will continue your legacy, and keep moving forward.
