The American Spinal Research Organization
The American Spinal Research Organization is now the home and fundraising arm of the North American Spinal Cord Injury Consortium. As a registered US 501(c)(3) charity EIN 35-1981439, we provide fundraising support for the programming and advocacy efforts of the NASCIC throughout North America.
We believe it is necessary to unite the spinal cord injured community and its stakeholders with the research community in order to make our voices heard, and ensure the priorities for cure research are in line with what the community identifies as crucial.
Essentially, the American Spinal Research Organization (ASRO) is doing business as the North American Spinal Cord Injury Consortium (NASCIC) in the USA. This structure is resulting in important and ongoing work in spinal cord injury research and advocacy through the NASCIC and its partner organizations.
