The Shoot for a Cure Campaign is a joint initiative by the CSRO/ASRO, and the StopConcussions Foundation whose mission is to fund research into a cure for brain and spinal cord injuries, while raising awareness for prevention of these injuries in contact sports.

As part of our prevention program, we have developed the Safe4Sports program which aims to educate young athletes on best practices to avoid concussion and neurotrauma in contact sports.  Our strong ties to the hockey community are one of the ways we are able to spread the message of prevention so effectively – with hockey tournaments, NHL alumni public appearances, and grassroots outreach to young players learning to navigate the game safely.
